Dan is a highly experienced professional in global financial services with a strong background in Credit Cards, Cobrands, and Payments. Throughout his career, he has held leadership positions at renowned institutions such as Smith Barney, Primerica Corporation, Chase Manhattan Bank, JP Morgan Chase, Barclays, and Wells Fargo.
Dan’s expertise began with financial analysis at Smith Barney and Primerica Corporation, followed by several years at Chase Manhattan Bank. He then co-founded Tarpon Scurry Investments and Alley Capital Partners, where he gained valuable entrepreneurial experience.
During his nearly 20-year tenure at JP Morgan Chase, Dan excelled in roles such as Head of Forecasting and Analysis and Managing Director of Partnership Marketing. In the latter position, he led major cobrand programs with Southwest Airlines, British Airways, InterContinental Hotels Group, Fairmont Hotels, AARP, Universal Studios, Amtrak, and others. Dan also expanded his card and payments experience globally with international assignments in Beijing, China, and London, England.
At Barclays, as Managing Director and Head of Airline Partnerships and Small Business Cards, Dan successfully built, managed, and grew the largest business segment. He played a key role in renewing existing programs and launching new ones, including cobrand partnerships with American Airlines, jetBlue, Hawaiian, Frontier, Emirates and Lufthansa, and overseeing small business card portfolios.
In his role as Executive Vice President at Wells Fargo, Dan led as Head of Cobrand and Branch Credit Cards. He secured multiple new cobrand deals and successfully launched programs like BILT Rewards, Choice Hotels, and Hotels.com. Additionally, he managed the P&L, strategy, and execution of card services in Wells Fargo branches, the bank’s largest distribution channel.
